The bottom line is that if you eat less and move more, you'll lose weight. Calories equal energy. Hula Hooping definitely burns energy! It might not burn as much as cross-country skiing, but it's more accesssible. People are more likely to try hula hooping - which we've all done already as children - than cross country skiing. This is a great article, because it plainly states what one must do to get into better shape: move more, eat less (but more protein) and do what you love!"
